Artist Info: Blue Flannel

A fun and humorous band that came out of Columbus, GA in the 1990s, Blue Flannel gave itself that name as a parody of Seattle's grunge scene (where flannel was worn regularly). The angry, angst-ridden lyrics that characterized a lot of grunge are a long way from the quirky, amusing lyrics of Blue Flannel, which was founded by singer Derek Coile. At first, Coile didn't take Flannel all that seriously and considered it nothing more than a hobby.
