Ahmad Lewis, born October 12, 1975, is a hip hop recording artist and songwriter. He was a founder and member of the hip-hop band 4th Avenue Jones. He made his recording debut in 1993 with the song "Who Can." He is best known for the song "Back in the Day," which earned him a gold record in 1994. Ahmad graduated from Stanford University with a degree in sociology. Ahmad is also known as a successful personal development author and public speaker.
